COVID-19 Updates
Visitation Restricted in All Facilities
Due to the continued increase of COVID-19 cases in the areas that we serve, visitation will need to be restricted in all facilities. We encourage everyone to follow all CDC guidelines for wearing masks in public, social distancing, and strict hand hygiene. Please know we are committed to keeping you and your family connected via virtual visitation and increased phone calls. Our amazing clinical team will be focused on keeping you informed of what is going on with those you love the most.
As we continue to mitigate the COVID-19 crisis, the states of Oklahoma and Texas continue their respective “re-opening” plans for the community. Please note that the severity of the crisis and the virus remains our utmost concern, as the numbers in our local markets continue to rise rather than decline. While Carrus recognizes the importance of infection prevention and control of the virus, we also understand the importance of family contact and visitation. Because of this, Carrus Health will once again move to a visitation restriction at our facilities. Please understand that this will continue to be monitored and changes will be made for the safety of our patients when necessary. The updated visitation guidelines go into effect Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 9 am.
Carrus Health Facility Visitation Guidelines
as of January 11, 2022
Regarding Hospital Visitation:
- Visitation hours shall be between 9 am - 9 pm, seven days per week.
- In order to control the amount of traffic/potential exposures, only one visitor in a 24 hour period shall be permitted.
- No ins and outs on the same day. Once a visitor leaves, visitation is over for that day.
- Each visitor must be screened in accordance with CDC guidelines and have temperature monitoring completed prior to entry to a patient care unit.
- A visitor must wear the provided surgical mask at all times while in the facility.
- Each visitor must enter, complete screening, and go directly to the patient's room they are visiting. All social gatherings and common areas shall remain closed at this time.
- Special visitation allowances will be made only for emergency/end-of-life situations.
Please note that as soon as our respective communities see a downward trend of COVID-positive cases and hospitalizations for a 14-day consecutive period, we will consider re-opening full visitation once again. It is our desire to ensure our patients have all the love and support possible while they are healing, and we are passionately committed to keeping each patient safe and reconnecting them in person with their loved ones as soon as possible.
On behalf of everyone at Carrus Health, THANK YOU for entrusting us to care for your loved ones. It is our family’s pleasure to care for yours!
